Without a doubt the highlight of our festival summer: Pukkelpop in Belgium. In 2015 and 2016 we already joined forces with local university college UCLL to investigate sustainable festival ideas. Now we’re happy to be working with UCLL again at Pukkelpop 2017.
The World Science Festival brings the Sustainable Dance Floor to the crossroads of the world: Times Square in New York City. From May 31 – June 3, the dance floor will be part of Science in the Square, the program part of the World Science Festival taking place in Times Square.
At interactive film and music festival SXSW, starting this weekend in Austin, Texas, we’ll present the prototype of our new Smart Energy Floor. This floor converts pedestrian kinetic energy and – unique! – solar power to electrical energy, contributing renewable power to local grids.
Early January Coachella dropped its lineup for this year’s edition (Lady Gaga! Radiohead! Kendrick Lamar!). Now we have exciting news too, regarding the festival in Indio, California: our Sustainable Dance Floor will be part of the Heineken House again! A Coachella bucket list must.
From 12-15 March 2017 we will present the prototype of our new Smart Energy Floor at the 31st edition of SXSW 2017 in Austin, Texas, USA. At SXSW 2017 we will join the New Dutch Wave, a new international movement to celebrate top notch Dutch creativity and entrepreneurship.
